Medical Emergencies
If you or another student requires immediate emergency care, call 911. After emergency services are on their way, contact Campus Safety at 843-383-8140 to inform them of the situation. If transported for medical care, proof of adequate insurance should always be taken to the Emergency Room with a student. If the hospital staff is not satisfied that the student has adequate coverage, a fee for Emergency Room services and the doctor’s services may be charged at the time of a visit. The student is responsible for all medical bills incurred.
