Door Propping

For your safety and security, as well as for the safety of all the students in the residence hall complex, students should never prop open any exterior building doors.  Door propping is considered a major violation of the Coker University Student Covenant and violators will be subject to judicial sanctioning. Doors to personal rooms should not be propped open or left unlocked, any doors found to be propped open and left unlocked will be locked by University staff, and could result in student conduct proceedings.
