Entry into Rooms

The University reserves the right to enter a student’s room when there is reason to believe an emergency exists, occupancy verifications, ensuring policy compliance, for health and safety inspections, if the well-being of the occupant or others students is at stake, or for purposes of maintenance.  In the case of suspected criminal violations, searches will be conducted as outlined in the “Inspection and Search” policy in the “General University Policies” section of this Handbook.
