Off-Campus Conduct
Student conduct action may be taken on the basis of any conduct, on or off campus, which would violate the University’s Student Code of Conduct or local, state, federal, or international laws. Alleged violation of any international, federal, state, or local law may also be subject to appropriate criminal or civil action.
Conduct and/or activity by members of the student body living in, or hosting functions at, off-campus locations which have the effect of unreasonably interfering with the rights of others is prohibited. This standard of conduct recognizes and affirms a responsibility to respect the rights of others appropriate to the setting in which one lives. It also recognizes the duty and responsibility of Coker students to control the nature and size of activities carried out in the community consistent with the standards of the University. Additionally, the University reserves the right to establish policies and procedures regarding eligibility to live off campus. Non-compliance with university policies or procedures subjects a student to university student conduct action.
