EDU 290 Arts Integration
This interdisciplinary course focuses on the methodology and unique strategies of the four art forms of Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Art. Targeted to emerging educators, this course will introduce the basics of arts integration as a means to delve deeper into the methods and materials of each art form with confidence, meaning, and understanding. Special attention will be given to the elements and principles of each art form, the creative process, and emphasizing connections in methodology and vocabulary used across the arts and academics. This course will use the four artistic processes - creating, performing/presenting/producing, responding, and connecting - to reinforce learning and meet national and state academic standards
