NUR 221 Pathophysiology and Pharmacology II
The course expands upon the pathophysiology and pharmacology treatments in NUR 211 with an emphasis on the pathophysiology of selected disease states and their respective pharmacological interventions. Demonstration of competency in performing drug dose calculations, application of safety concepts, and standards of practice are delivered in an active learning environment and at a level of rigor appropriate for mid-level pharmacological applications that are consistent with a effective use of medications in patient care.
