IS 301 Interdisciplinary Research
Designed to build on skills and knowledge acquired in
IS 200, this course allows students to pursue an individualized interdisciplinary research or creative project that matches their career interests. Projects are designed with initial support from faculty members in the disciplines involved and then supervised by the Coordinator of Interdisciplinary Studies. Students will draw on existing library resources as they apply the Broad model to conduct interdisciplinary research. Number of credit hours is determined by the extent of the research project proposed. Course can be repeated for credit. Prerequisite:
IS 200 or permission of the instructor.
