ENG 420 Literary Themes

Some issues have been of such important to human, societies that they appear in literary texts that span many times and places. In this course, students will explore the ways that authors adapt and employ thematic elements in relation to the demands of their chosen forms and of their specific cultural contexts. Although these courses may include some texts in translation, their primary content will be drawn from English language texts. Course may be repeated for credit.
