ENG 340 Management and Leadership Skills in Literature

This course investigates management styles and leadership strategics displayed by characters appearing in literature and other media. The students will study selected readings that emphasize the use of rhetoric to manage people. During the course, students will learn to reflect on their own leadership and that of others. They will also participate in graded and ungraded activities, such as team-building exercises and role-playing scenarios, based on the texts they have read and films they have watched.
