COM 289 Film Criticism
(Cross Reference: ENG 289, THE 289) This course introduces students to the ways film communicates and creates messages through storytelling and production techniques. From this course, students will learn critical and interpretative approaches in order to gain an appreciation of various film genres, styles, historical influences, and cultural impacts. Students will practice how to write about and discuss films critically.
