CARE Team
The Campus Assessment, Referral, and Evaluation Team (CARE) may consist of some or all of the following: Senior Director of Student Experience, Chief Academic Officer/Provost, Director of Counseling Services, First Year Experience Coordinator, Director of Residence Life, Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Director of Student Engagement, Director of the John Foster III Center for Community and Belonging, Director of Campus Safety and Security, and Athletics Representative. The CARE Team is responsible for case management of community members who are suspected of being at-risk academically, socially, physically, emotionally, or any combination of the aforementioned. The CARE Team reserves the right to mandate assessment, counseling, drug testing, behavior improvement plans, or student conduct or human resource proceedings, if they feel necessary.
