BIO 391 Biology Seminar II

BIO 391 Biology Seminar II (2SH) This course is designed to aid students in obtaining an appropriate internship or research experience and in developing a project proposal for that experience. The course involves instruction in the identification of primary and secondary research articles, the development of an annotated bibliography on scientific literature, and students will acquire competency in oral presentations of scientific peer-reviewed articles. Finally, students will prepare a project proposal based on that internship or research experience that demonstrates a command of basic biological principles. Prerequisites: BIO 211 and junior standing. Pre or corequisite: BIO 291 and BIO 210.
