An introduction to the discipline of physical education and sports studies. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, career options, and the historical and philosophical development of physical education and sports studies related to current concepts and trends in the field.
PE 205 is a prerequisite for all major core courses. Prerequisite: Declared physical education major.
