HIST 390 Making of the Contemporary World
This course will provide an in-depth view of pressing issues in recent world history, such as poverty in the developing world; north-south income disparities; ecological degradation; de-colonization; the cold war; ethnic and race relations; religious strife; geopolitical disputes; technology transfer; the rights of indigenous peoples; women's rights; and alternative forms of diplomacy. It is designated to fulfill CAP 300 requirements.
