GEO 101 Historical Geology

An introduction to geology with an emphasis on geologic time, the origin and development of living things, the fossil record, the rock record, and the principles of uniformitarianism and superposition, as explained by plate tectonics theory. Prerequisite: MAT101 or its equivalent.
