CHE 401 Analytical Chemistry

An integrated view of the theories and methods for solving various problems in chemical analysis, including traditional methods of quantitative analysis and contemporary methods in analytical instrumentation. Emphasis on clear definition of analytical problems, selection of appropriate methodologies to solve them, selection of acceptable limits of accuracy and precision, and proper evaluation, interpretation and optimization of data. Prerequisites: CHE102, CHE102L. (Offered in alternate years)
