BIO 105 Current Issues in Biology
This course uses current events to introduce basic biological principles, the scientific method, and critical thinking. We will explore major scientific developments and their impacts on society, science and the environment, and the processes that govern biological systems. Students will learn how to discuss scientific ideas and to distinguish between science and non-science. This course is designed to increase science literacy and critical thinking skills.
