Curriculum and Instructional Technology (M.Ed.)
The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Technology (M.Ed. CIT) is a fully online graduate program designed for practicing educators seeking advanced preparation in curriculum design, instructional innovation, and the effective integration of educational technology. Offered in structured 8-week terms, the program combines flexibility with academic rigor and emphasizes student-centered instruction, digital literacy, assessment, and data-informed decision making to improve PK–12 teaching and learning.
As part of the program, candidates may complete two Gifted and Talented (GT) courses aligned with state and professional standards for gifted education. These courses prepare educators to identify and serve gifted learners through differentiation, enrichment, acceleration, and attention to social-emotional needs. Successful completion qualifies educators to earn an additional Gifted and Talented endorsement on their teaching certificates, in accordance with state certification requirements.
