NUTR 210 Introduction to Nutrition

The choices we make about food and nutrition shape our health and wellness throughout our lives. This course examines the factors that influence dietary choices, including cultural influences, personal preferences, and food accessibility. Students will explore macronutrients, micronutrients, governmental dietary guidelines, and practical assessment tools used to design nutrition plans that support health, well-being, and weight management across the lifespan.
