MAT 220 History of Mathematics
Students will investigate how people and societies have used mathematics and quantitative reasoning to solve problems throughout history. Students will learn about the universality and adaptability of mathematics by applying the variety of quantitative reasoning methods invented by different cultures to solve historical problems.
